The images on this website come from a variety of sources, including my personal research collection, the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), and other historical archives.

Public Domain Images

Many images originate from NARA and are in the public domain as works produced by the U.S. federal government. Images from other archives may also be in the public domain due to age or explicit release by the holding institution.

Private Collection

Some images are from my private research collection. These are not freely available for reuse and remain under my control.
